Mr. Sakoltee Phattiyakul, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, chaired the meeting of the executives of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), administrators of the BMA City Law Enforcement Department, and Chiefs of City Law Enforcement Sections from all district offices, no. 2/2021 via teleconference system to give policy and practice guidelines to all City Law Enforcement Officers.

The Deputy Governor of Bangkok said that, during June 2021, the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2021 (COVID-19) has been ongoing; therefore, the City Law Enforcement Officers from all District Offices were assigned to stringently inspect and give advice to restaurants, places of entertainment, markets, and construction worker camps located in the area to strictly and continuously abide by measures to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19. All City Law Enforcement Officers were also informed to be careful and take a good care of themselves during operation and to also strictly follow the measures to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Regarding policy for the city orderliness in other aspects, such as parking or driving on footpaths, illegal installation of outdoor advertising, billboards or signs in public areas, reorganization of vendors and hawkers, and other aspects of disorganization, there is a need for strict inspection and implementation as before for the orderliness of Bangkok city.
