Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, had a site visit to inspect a COVID-19 vaccination service unit outside hospital: “Cooperative COVID-19 Vaccination Service Unit: Bangkok Metropolitan Administration – Board of Trade of Thailand” located at the Main Hall of University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Din Daeng district.

It is expected to provide vaccination service to approximately 2,000 – 2,500 people/day during 09.00 – 16.00 hrs. On May 25, 2021, it was opened for the test run and 600 people from high risk groups were vaccinated. This included garbage collectors, sweepers, and teachers and educational personnel from Din Daeng District Office. People in other occupational risk groups, that the BMA Health Department has already input their information in its system, will then be considered to have vaccination service depending on the number of COVID-19 vaccines allocated to the BMA.

In this regard, the BMA in cooperation with Board of Trade of Thailand and network hospitals, has already opened 6 “Cooperative COVID-19 Vaccination Service Units” outside hospital for the test run, namely, 1. Central Plaza Lat Phrao, in cooperation with Ramathibodi Hospital, 2. Samyan Mitrtown in cooperation with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, 3. The Mall Bang Kapi in cooperation with Nopparatrajathanee Hospital, 4. Big C Bang Bon in cooperation with Bangpakok Hospital Group, 5. Siam Paragon in cooperation with Bangkok Hospital, 6. Central Plaza Pinklao in cooperation with Vajira Hospital, and 7. Lotus Min Buri branch in cooperation with Bangpakok Hospital Group.
