Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, welcomed General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Thailand’s Prime Minister, and his delegation during the inspection visit to COVID-19 vaccination service venue outside hospital: “Cooperative COVID-19 Vaccination Service Unit: Bangkok Metropolitan Administration – Board of Trade of Thailand” located at CentralwOrld LIVE Zone, 8th floor, CentralwOrld shopping centre, Pathum Wan district.

This COVID-19 vaccination service venue outside hospital or “Cooperative COVID-19 Vaccination Service Unit: Bangkok Metropolitan Administration – Board of Trade of Thailand” at CentralwOrld LIVE Zone, 8th floor, CentralwOrld shopping centre, is the partnership of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Board of Trade of Thailand, and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. It aims to provide vaccination service to approximately 2,500 – 3,000 people/day during 09.00-17.00 hrs. On May 31, 2021, it was opened for the test run and 800 people from high risk groups were vaccinated. This included frontline personnel, garbage collectors, sweepers, and teachers and educational personnel from district offices, and volunteers. The next group to be vaccinated is the people in other occupational risk groups who have a chance to contact with a large number of people and have already registered for the vaccines with the BMA Health Department in advance.
