Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, had a site visit to check on people’s livelihood and relieve hardships of people who affected by the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Bangkok Noi District and Taling Chan District.
Governor of Bangkok has been concerned about people who suffered from the impact of COVID-19 pandemic; therefore, items donated by generous and altruistic people will be brought and distributed to people living in communities of all 50 districts in Bangkok. Today, the Governor of Bangkok visits Bangkok Noi District and Taling Chan District to deliver bicycles to students from low-income families, and to give consumer goods to each person including rice (5 kg. pack), a box of instant noodles, and sugar (1 kg. pack) or 10 eggs.
Governor of Bangkok said that Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) had been concerned about people in communities who impacted by the pandemic. Thus, the BMA brought donated items from kind and benevolent donors, without using government budget, to distribute to people. Moreover, the BMA executives had a chance to talk with people living in the areas of Bangkok Noi District and Taling Chan District and listen to their problems and complaints. For the problems and issues that can be solved, the BMA will handle them urgently and immediately. However, for problems that still face obstacles, the BMA will coordinate with other related organizations to help find solutions.
