Mrs. Silapasuai Rawisaengsun, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) inspected and monitored the progress of public park construction in Thawi Watthana district and presided over the activity to plant trees, namely, Yang and rice.
The BMA by Environment Department has implemented Green Bangkok 2030 Project with the cooperation from both public and private organizations and agencies in supporting land for creating public park to increase green area in Bangkok. Objective of the project is to increase the public green area to the City of Bangkok to be adequate for people according to the international standard. The target is to increase green space per capita to 10 square meters per person within the year 2030.
