Field visit today is the checking of measures to control 3 construction worker camps located at Soi Si Lom 9 in Bang Rak district. After the officers of Bang Rak District Office had conducted disease investigation and isolated all the high-risk contacts in the construction worker camps, people infected with the COVID-19 from all 3 construction worker camps will be admitted to hospitals and field hospitals. The camps will be closed and enforced under the strict measures specified by the Government. For example, construction worker camps will be improved physically and accommodation will be cleaned and disinfected. Moreover, all the high-risk contacts will be quarantined and live only inside the camps. Interpreters and psychologists are sent to give advice and knowledge and create better understanding on how to practice self-care during quarantine in the camps to prevent the spread of COVID-19. They will talk and hear problems from people in quarantine to reduce stress, worry and anxiety on various problems as well as give advice on how to prevent and control the wider spread of the disease in the area.
