Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, opens the traffic at Rama II Road Soi 82, Bang Khun Thian District. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has been conducted construction project to improve the Rama II Road Soi 82, which is 1.84 kilometers long, to urgently solve traffic congestion problem. Originally, the Rama II Road Soi 82 does not have road lighting and flooding has always been a problem during the rainy season in this area. Consequently, the public have been facing difficulty while commuting as many people are living in the area of construction project and its surroundings. Besides, this is the location of various government offices and important places.
This road improvement comprises the widening of road surface as well as installation of road lighting, signage system, traffic sign, and drainage system. Once this road is open for traffic, it will ease traffic congestion and allow traffic flow in Bang Bon District, Bang Khun Thian District and surrounding areas.
