Mr. Chatree Wattanakhajorn, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), had a site visit to inspect the provision of active case finding service for the prevention and control of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the area of Pom Prap Sattru Phai District at Maha Nak Mosque, Khlong Maha Nak Subdistrict, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District. The Pom Prap Sattru Phai District Office, together with Public Health Center 20 of the BMA Health Department and the Institute for Urban Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Public Health, has provided active case finding service using nasopharyngeal swab method at two Biosafety Mobile Units granted by H.M. King. The target group is 1,000 Thai people in Maha Nak Mosque Community and the surrounding areas.

After that at 10.00 hrs., the Deputy Permanent Secretary for the BMA had a site visit to inspect the provision of active case finding service for the prevention and control of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the area of Ratchathewi District. The Ratchathewi District Office and Public Health Center 2 at Makkasan Temple together with Central General Hospital have provided active case finding service using nasopharyngeal swabs to the people and business operators in the area of Ratchathewi District at Kilaphat 2 Sports Field on Rama VI Road in Ratchathewi District. Target for active case finding is 500 people per day.
