Mr. Sakchai Boonma and Mr. Kriangyos Sudlabha, Deputy Governors of Bangkok, Mr. Vallop Suwandee, Chairman of Advisors to Governor of Bangkok, and Mr. Khachit Chatcahwanit, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) participated in the meeting to consider the installation of grain dryers in Bangkok Metropolitan area.

The BMA has received grain dryers supported by Osathanugrah Foundation aiming to be installed for the use of farmers in the east of Bangkok. Regarding the progress of this project, meeting of farmers in the area was held and found that there were 3 groups of farmers who are ready, namely Khwaeng Krathum Rai Farmer Group, Khwaeng Khlong Sip Song Moo 10 Farmer Group, and Khwaeng Khlong Sip Song Moo 6 Farmer Group. Community enterprise has already been established together with its business plans. Land lease agreement has been signed so that the installation of grain dryers can be implemented successfully in accordance with the conditions set by the Osathanugrah Foundation.

The meeting agreed to start the installation in 2 areas which are Khwaeng Khlong Sip Song Moo 10 Farmer Group, and Khwaeng Khlong Sip Song Moo 6 Farmer Group because they are ready both in terms of area and land lease agreement. Pile driving can be started in August 2021 and the construction period is approximately 120 days.
